Q.01BATCH PROTOCOL

Why do you limit batches to 200 jars?

Blending in runs of 200 jars lets us mix by hand in our Portland studio and ship remedies fresh, without sitting in warehouses or needing chemical stabilizers.

ARCHIVE NOTE: Small runs preserve heat-sensitive antioxidants and botanical actives.
Q.02RELEASE SCHEDULE

How often do you release new batches?

We blend weekly in small batches. Once a 200-jar run is spoken for, we announce the next release through our seasonal dispatch email.

ARCHIVE NOTE: Subscribers receive 24-hour priority notice before public availability.
Q.03REACTIVE SKIN

Are your products suitable for reactive or sensitive skin?

Yes. We avoid synthetic fragrances, hidden preservatives, and harsh fillers. We recommend checking our printed farm list and conducting a 24-hour patch test before full use.

ARCHIVE NOTE: Full farm and extraction method disclosure on every physical label.
Q.04ANHYDROUS FORMULA

How do your formulas stay fresh without synthetic preservatives?

We formulate anhydrous balms and oils with cold-pressed botanical lipids rich in natural antioxidants, packaged in light-filtering amber glass with clear batch dates.

ARCHIVE NOTE: Water-free architecture naturally deters microbial growth without parabens or phenoxyethanol.
Q.05SHELF LIFE

What is the typical shelf life of an unopened jar?

Most formulas remain optimal for 12 months unopened and 6 months after opening. Store your jars away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place.

ARCHIVE NOTE: Every carton displays the exact blending month and year stamped by hand.
Q.06FARM ORIGINS

Where do you source your organic botanicals?

We purchase certified organic herbs and cold-pressed oils from regional Pacific Northwest growers and verified agricultural cooperatives. Every label lists farm origins.

ARCHIVE NOTE: Partners include certified organic farms across Oregon and Washington state.
Q.07VISIT PORTLAND

Can I visit your studio in Portland?

Yes. Our workspace at 1412 SE Belmont Street is open Thursday to Sunday from 11am to 6pm. You can test current batches and speak directly with our blending team.

ARCHIVE NOTE: Walk-ins are always welcome during open studio hours.
APPLICATION MANUAL

Patch testing protocol for sensitive skin

Even certified organic botanicals can interact with sensitized barriers. Follow our standard 4-step ritual before introducing any new formula.

STEP 01

Select Clean Testing Area

Apply a small drop to the inner forearm or behind the ear on cleansed, dry skin.

STEP 02

Observe for 24 Hours

Leave undisturbed for 24 hours without layering additional serums, acids, or perfumes.

STEP 03

Inspect Skin Barrier

Check for redness, warmth, or irritation. A calm skin barrier confirms formula compatibility.

STEP 04

Gentle Introduction

Begin with 2–3 drops every second evening, allowing your skin to acclimate gradually.
